I know it's been asked 100x, but I'm fixing to get after it and I've read the wd40 is fine. Just wanted to double check before I dove in.

Thanks!!!

You have to do this right now?

If you can wait a couple of days, give me an address and I'll send you an extra container of release agent I have left over from a Score High Pro-Bed 2000 kit.

saddle soap? that will work, its pretty much the same stuff as clear shoe polish. put it on there, and hit it w/ a quick blast of pam and you should be G2G

I prefer the score high release agent myself and there bedding compound, I believe they say that its the same release agent that some aerospace people use. Also Chad Dixon of Long Rifles Inc has some kind of kick ass release if your willing to wait and get some of that. As far as WD-40 goes I've used it for cleaning up excessive bedding and its worked. Good luck!

FCS thanks for the offer! If you still want to hook me up I'll take it, but I did it with what I had. Lost internet connection and couldn't get back on... I started with vaseline and the leather polish.

I got it all done, came to check it out this morning and thought I was screwed. Finally got it loose and looks decent. Wish I would have gotten to check this thread and it may be perfect, but it's not too bad.

Thanks for all the info! Next time I'm using something a little better...

It's not hard. Took me 3 tries to get mine right. As long as you don't royally botch it up you can always re-do it. Glad you got yours done and can go shoot!
