Wearing Sordin neckband with hats?

I have looked through the posts about Sordin's and am going to give them a try. For those that have the neckband version, have you tried wearing them with a ball cap turned backwards? I wear a hat because of my lack of dome cushion but am not a fan of having a visor in front of my face when shooting. The neckband looks like it will be the most comfortable but not sure how much of a pain it will be to slip a visor through or if it is even possible.

I wear Sordin neckband's (definitely get the gel cushions, great upgrade for comfort). I've worn a ball cap forward with them just fine but not backward. Will try tonight after work and report back.

As a note, a cap does cause a slight break in the seal. Nothing drastic, but you will notice a bit more noise from your neighbors rifle. If you're more sensitive to this, I'd skip the ball cap, wear double ear-pro, or go with in-ears only.

Yes, Pro X with gel. Simply trying to decide between the head and neck versions.

I picked up a set of those for some HL's. They certainly are well made and a great upgrade. Have you compared them to the MSA gels? I have not read anyone complain about discomfort with glasses so long as they have gels.

I swapped out the MSA gel cups for these. My gel cups were starting to crack and wouldn't seal tight anymore. I thick these are more comfortable and are just as quite if not more so. I wear glasses full time and have a pair of RX Oakleys that I use when shooting.

When I wear a ball cap reversed, the Sordin's neckband is actually right above the visor and the head strap sits on the top of the cap. I can't wear it with the neckband below the visor so it is behind my neck as it won't fit right in my case.

I have a set of the headband version. I wear a CSTactical ball cap and it's cool, because they omitted the metal beanie on top that would dent the top of your skull. I want to go to the neckband version and will do so in the next 6 months.
