Gunsmithing Weatherby MK 5 actions

I was at my uncle in law’s last night and he has nine Weatherby’s in various calibers. He wants to have his oldest .300 weatherby trued up, re-barreled, bedded, coated, etc...
Anyone doing any custom work on MK 5’s?

What do you think about using AI AXMC 10 shot magnum double stack magazines in a MK5 action?
I think this conversion will be "easy" with a custom bottom metal.

AIAW 308win 10 shot double stack mags fit well in a Sako 75 308 and only needs a slight mod to work perfectly.
