Rifle Scopes weatherby scope base

Can anyone tell me if a scope base for a Remington 700 would also fit on a Weatherby Vanguard action if they were both 308's ? It's tough finding a one piece scope base, or for that matter anything aftermarket for a Vanguard

The Remington Long action and Howa / Vanguard long action bolt pattern are the same but the location of the port and size of the front receiver ring are different.

The short action Remington is DIFFERENT than the Howa/ vanguard and will not bolt up. It is unique to that gun.

Call Near Mfg. I believe he has bases for all the Weatherby models.

The remmy bases will fit if you use the two peice. A one piece base will not fit.

Near makes them, as well as EGW.
