My cousin passed a few years ago and left this to me. He was into wood working and inlaying stocks. He was a lefty as well.

im no expert on wood lol no pun intended
but i think it may be birch or walnut. i just ordered a birch stock and they look similar. but i may be totally off.

If you can get me a closer pic of the grain structure of the wood I'll tell you what it is. It's a nice burl at the front of the stock, maybe olive ash or a walnut burl, but the rest I can't tell without seeing closer.
