I just purchased the one piece rem. 700 tactical base for short action but, it is way too short in length? Does this particular model require the long action version base? Thanks.

I don't have my camera right now I guess, it must be the wrong base that came in the package.
I hope they will let me exchange it tomorrow. Thanks folks! WOW! I looked up the number that's on the base which is 430T and found that it is for a Ruger 10-22
