I have this exact bipod on my AR. It seems to be pretty nice, but I am use to Harris stuff. The only reason I got it was because the Harris looks too much like a Hunting/Benchrest style bipod and the Weaver looks a little more at home on a AR platform. No complaints on it yet.

Harris is part of the SOPMOD kit for years and has been proven for many applications. Looks perfect on all my AR platform and rifles. If buying cheap stuff works for you than that's your choice

Quick to call out the crap mode, ah. Most of us know Harris makes a solid product, but they may not be the only game in town.

I wouldnt say its cheap,in fact its ~40% more than the Harris. I have Harris bipods, and like them, I agree they look a little funny on an AR.

I contacted ATK about these bipods months ago and the only response was that they wouldn't be releasing them for a awhile. I was looking at the RCBS one which looks the exact same in fact it is the same. Looks like the ATK is trying to find which brand would favor better toward the tactical crowd.

Does anyone have any specs on these, weight, length closed length extended? Does it cant? How is the locking device, are there slots in the legs do the feet look like they can be removed and changed out?

most importantly where these things are made?

Weaver says they're 'Made in USA'. I was considering one of these for Lr308 build I am in the middle of. May be worth it to spend the extra $30-40 and go for the GG&G though.

Midway is asking $200 for the RCBS version which appears to be identical. SWFA is asking $134 for the Weaver. (???)

Looks nice. I wonder if they have the same warranty and support that Harris Engineering has on their stuff.
