Was wondering if anyone knows much about the older Weaver scopes. I have one on my 1903A4 replica, and will probably use them for future replica builds as well. They seem solid but I wonder about things like repeat-ability for shooting at long ranges. My scope is an older K3 that still has the clicking adjustments. I believe mine is 1/4 MOA clicks.

I have a Swedish M96b that's currently being "reconditioned" into an M41. I have a Weaver K4 mounted on it with a European reticle that came with it.
They are a good scope, IMO, and have been in use for a very long time.
I hesitate to make changes to mine, like target turret knobs, etc, as the CMA doesn't appreciate it.
I'd say it's a better scope than what came on your rifle originally.
BTW, I believe the CMA does allow the Weaver K4/K60 to be used on your rifle now, but I'd double check that if you plan on using that rifle in vintage sniper competition.

Will have to check up on the rules, last I saw on the 1903A4 style guns it had to be a Lyman Alaskan, 330c or K2.5
