Criterion barrels is making replacement barrels for CMP using the original equipment that made the original barrels the first time.

Damn, that thing is heavy, only holds 8 rounds, makes a clip tossing 'PING' when empty and...well aside from that is a pretty good rifle, and quite accurate with it's ability to hit quarter's at 100m, but fuck it's heavy! I think the FAL and Scout are better at 0m - 200m, and teh GAP/AI is defiantly well suited for 200M out, but might weigh in more than the Garand. Tis a shame it came with a long truck axle barrel, because that folding stock screams for a 16" that will fit in a backpack
