PRS Talk Welcome to the Camps.... Don't buy a PRS membership

Hey Cool. I live in Washington and I just learned about the Cup Shoot thing that's gonna be here someplace. I gotta big propane tank I'm not using anymore and a Tasco 22lr scope that's a fixed 4 power I think. I'll look for it. I hope you win your Cup shooting match and I will see if my friend @Threadcutter308 can give you some air travel miles so you can come up here and shoot for some prizes you want.

Ummmm..........

Air miles;
1. I earn 'em.
2. She burns 'em.
3. I don't actually own them, she does.
4. You're about a week late, she burned 'em and the pot is empty....

Besides, none of you cheap fucks even offered to take me to dinner, a movie and the submarine races......WTF is up with that ?

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the Futon this morning. We were asking for a friend @QuickNDirty so he could make it to Washington for THE TIME OF HIS LIFE, ya awnry cuss.

Know all men by these presents, that on this day, 13 February 2019, the DISTINGUISHED MERRIMENT MEDAL, commonly known as "The Spotted Bitch," is awarded, posthumously, to the poster known as 68WF3, for amusingly abusive above average arrogance above and beyond the call of duty therein, primarily, this thread.

The award is in the form of a ribbon with a back field of bichromatic striping, recognizing possible gender fluidity, with pink stripes to acknowledge the recipient's apparent latency. Piss-yellow bars sit to either side of a central field of Dalmatian spots, in recognition of the recipient's status as Rob's bitch, with a centermost Maggie's Drawers device in recognition of the recipient's shotgun-pattern like performance at LR and ELR distances before witnesses known to the committee. In addition, the award bears a distinguishing "72" device in beveled gold, in recognition of the approximate number of hours of the recipient's service in providing a sad, short-lived burst of amusement to all, in the highest standards of SH expectations.

That dude must really hate 5.11 tactical pants, must not fit the giant offhand balls he carries

I sent a screenshot of that to a friend who rants about people stomping around in their 5.11 pants and asked if he was on here trolling lol.

I got a 5.11 hat for xmas must mean I officially hit baller status lol
Knowing what I know, he's just jealous of anyone who can afford pants that go all the way to their ankles, let alone a pair of matching socks.

Can we get his posts put back? Sucks he picked 68wf3. That doesn’t roll off the tongue and will diminish his ledgendary status.

I second having the posts restored for posterity's sake. Most of them are preserved in quotes, but it really wrecks the flow of the thread to try to piece them together.

I'm a pretty new shooter, not competitive by any means, and I've yet to meet anyone at a match that fits your description. Everyone has been welcoming, friendly, willing to help out.

I've yet to shoot a match and not have a great time, no matter how I happen to be shooting that day. But then as Fig said, I had no idea what really good shooting was until I saw it first hand at a match. I quickly decided to leave my ego at home and instead focus on learning, growing as a shooter, and above all enjoying myself.
I'm just starting out as well and have this same attitude looking forward to making some friends and enjoying some good trigger time

we really need a ribbon rack feature on this site where your official awards are displayed.

I’m up to:

Scout survival 1/2 Star with V device
Spin-D Cross
Team Hello Kitty tab
PapaRockCal Campaign medal
Distinguished Merriment medal

Much of this was my suggestion on their FB page.

Buck Holly took it upon himself to claim all of it is logistically impossible.

He also insenuated that the powers that be have spoken and this is how it is. I left the conversation and the group once he started throwing subtle jab insults.

Sounds pretty closed minded on his part. Organizations outside of the shooting world have been doing this type of thing forever. Sure as heck is not magic. I always run the numbers and buying the membership almost always comes out on top, but it makes people feel better to have options - some simply just want to participate for a day and are willing to lose out on a perk or 2 rather than spend an extra $20 or whatever. When they run the total bill for your weekend, people feel better that they spent $381, all-in, rather than $401.
