Photos West Tx pig hunting at its finest

We had another great weekend from the infamous "cliff blind". All shots from 380 to 500 yards. 3 pigs down.
Here are the videos:
Abilene4) Drew, Kevin and I, Drew on the 300wsm, Kevin on the 25wssm, I'm on my .308. Right at 400 yards. You can't tell but we crushed the 2nd pig from top, looks like we missed, and I thought we had until we found it the following day.

Abilene3) Drew and I, drew on the 300wsm I'm on my .308, Shots are at 380. We counted to three, the results speak for themselves. If you watch close you can catch Drew's 208amax streaking in from high right.

Abilene2) Jess and I, Jess is on Drew's 300wsm I'm on my .308. Shots are at 500. Instead of counting to 3 and shooting I told jess to shoot and I would back him up on the 2nd pig (up high), didn't work, the pig moved before I could get my bullet there. Jess crushed his though, and as it was spinning down low I took a second shot.

The triple didn't turn out like we would have hoped. As it turns out however, we did find the one pig that broke right and she had two 30 caliber holes in her and her hoof had been blown off (probably by the 25wssm that was the third gun). Fun stuff.

Good stuff....I was wondering what weight pill and brand your friend was using with the 300WSM?

amazing how much more punch is in the 300 vs. my 308. I was pushing 178amax's at 2580 and the 208's are running 2950. The 300 got pass throughs on every pig, and the .308 got none. Shot placement was very similar on both pigs.

Nice shooting gentlemen, the video just makes it better. It's always a blast when you can get into the pigs at longer ranges and they can't figure out where it's coming from. I have some friends that farm a lot of acreage in Vernon, so we can get into them in a bit more of the open country. I'm quite familiar with the area ya'll are hunting in, I'm not too far from ya'll in Lubbock. If you ever need another spotter or shooter, let me know, I'll be happy to join ya'll. Keep it up, we need the population control.
