You know a light switch when in the up (On if wired correctly) position?

I purchased 25k alone in 22lr....

an other 30-40k in other ammo types...

Shit man! Can I borrow some money?

That's a lot of ammo!

Not really!

home gym equipment!

We all should be doing that but I’m scrambling to get what I can.

Those are great on paper, but not usually as efficient as you hope in use.
IF you have time to prepare now, I'd suggest stocking up on proper filtration equipment so you don't have to try to use one of those contraptions.

Suggestions and don’t tell me a life straw lmao!

^^^^^ And Advil because we're getting older and shit hurts.

You ain’t lying! I live off the stuff and I’m not even 40 yet!

Yall are ambitious.

Just drop em back in their mini Mogadishu.
Serves as a warning that it might be time to straighten up.

At least get a backhoe. Save your energy for fighting and repopulating the earth....

@SilentStalkr
Depends on if you want a pump or gravity water filter.

I have the katadyn Pocket filter. In redundancy.
Easy to work with, filters well.

Also keep a few Sawyer Minis on hand for the traveling light days.
Tastes better than iodine, which I keep on hand also.

Interesting question..... While neither tuna or peanuts will disappear, it's the supply chain that is in question. There could be full warehouses of tuna on the West Coast and full warehouses of peanuts in the Southeast. When the commodities can not get to the market place, they disappear. We are seeing that now, to some degree. The same can be said for prescription drugs, petroleum products, electricity, natural gas and even potable water. The key to Surviving is to be resourceful enough to adapt to the rapidly changing situations. Start looking at your associates from the perspective of "Who has a Survivor's Personality" and not who has the most ammo.

Hobo

actually the issue with pharmaceuticals more than anything else is not just manpower it’s also the precursor chemicals many of which are no longer made in the United States

I think there will be a run on Trijicon UTC-Xii thermal clip-ons, so I snagged a couple while they’re still available. 😁

Tell you what, it's probably the most ideal time of the year to try that solar still thing....

So, go make one in your back yard and see how much drinkable water you have from it at the end of a full day.

Then after that, you can decide for yourself if you think that will provide all the drinking water you want out of dirty water, or if you would like to research a lot of other options that are well proven, tested and much more efficient at changing your dirty water into drinkable water.

Those solar stills are actually more useful for when you don't have dirty water and are trying to harvest water out of vegetation that is still wet.

I wasn’t the guy pushing for solar! I was legit asking what you recommended.

2 off the top of my head.

->Medicines.

Allergy, decongestants, flu meds, pedialite, fever reducers (esp tylenol), etc...

Vitamins, c / d3 and zinc supplements.

->Booze

High proof liquors, bourbons, vodkas, ect. The high priced liquor will still be avaialble for the richies.

Not a party... I'm not a machine and need to keep the womenfolk occupied...lol

Well I am married to a BSRN,how do you think I found out?
She told me

We had a lot of lightning strikes in my area this afternoon with flickering power outages, meaning no online porn, but if anybody would like some magazines to read that have some good articles and great cartoons, I have the first 20 years of Penthouse and the first 7 years of OUI published by Playboy. Interesting to see the styles, reviews, philosophy, etc.

We know things like hand sanitizer and rubbing alcohol disappear quickly in a panic.

I do think that 2020 election panic could lead to disruptions of supply lines. That could mean bread milk and produce disappear.

I saw a lot of food items get wiped out during the TP crisis.

Antifa and BLM could also go after other utilities.

Water and power might go out.

Being able to stay calm, rested and alert will be essential.

Cheap POS Chinesium optics when panic buyers realize they can't hit shit with iron sights and think an optic will solve all their problems.

It’s weird that gun prices and sales have skyrocketed but mags and optics haven’t.

Is it just a matter of time?

If it's anything like what I saw today at my LGS, expect the current run on guns and ammo to only get much worse.
Meat might be something that becomes intermittent on the supply chain.

Serious question: Is being “almost a doctor” like saying “just six more inches, and I’d be a porn star”?

:p
Never really thought of it that way.

But seriously I've been a paramedic for 10 years and a combat medic/provider for 14 years. I also have my BSN in nursing. While deployed I've done everything under the sun in the medical book including two surgeries under a surgeon's guidance of course. An appendectomy and a fasciotomy. So take it for what its worth. I've treated many patients and have done very well in my field.

The lefties are going to go crazy buying guns and survival stuff in response to Trump deploying his “storm troopers”.

Maple syrup and apple cider vinegar

None to be found at Kroger today

Another shortage that is developing... Recreational Vehicles (RV's). I'm seeing a lot of out of state RV's that have booked into the "Long Term Stay" section of many of the RV Parks... Looking like they will be staying longer than the tourist season. Storage units are being built at a fast pace and they are full the moment they are completed.

Well after Trump wins in Nov (if the communists dont get away with rampant cheating) will be teddy bears, xanax, pampers, and blankies for the libtards. Get some popcorn. 🍿

Nationwide shortage of lumber. Many factors contribute, like tariffs with Canada, mills shutting down because of the virus, and every soccer mom in the USA now wanting a bigger deck on the back of the house.

Just in the little town I live near, they did a sales tax collection summary in yesterday's paper, and since the virus started, Sporting Goods sales are up 41.7%, and liquor sales are up 14.8%.

In a real crunch, or collapse, in addition to those things already mentioned like ammo, food, and TP, alcohol and cigarettes are going to be more valuable than gold. Most liquor has an indefinite shelf life, so I may need to stock up on some more. Unfortunately, I don't drink much beyond beer.
