What dies are most using for 6Dasher ?
I’d want a bushing full length sizer and a competition micrometer seater.

I just saw, never used, Wilson screw in dies, they look nice and I’ve heard good things about them, only $65. I really like Redding but DAMN $154 for just the sizer. I can’t seem to find the Redding comp seater except through off websites and it’s always “out of stock”. Forester makes a micrometer seater as well.

Whidden is not a choice for me...

    Please help me decide

I have the basic Forster set (non bushing sizer, non-mic seater) and it is so far excellent. The sizer is pretty great, and sizes to the neck/shoulder junction. I may send it to forster to be honed to .267, but not until I see how it does over a few firings. This goes against common practice, but I like an expander ball for pushing the diameter variation to the outside, and have had great success doing it this way.

The seater is great, and far better than the basic RCBS stuff I've been using. Buy forster with confidence.

    * Disclaimer: have only sized and seated a few once-fired cases I found in my brass bag after a match. Still waiting on the rifle to get here.

Forster Ultra Micrometer Seater and Forster FL sizing die with the expander removed. Then final step with a 21st Century TiN mandrel to set .002 neck tension. If you want to reduce the amount the Forster FL die sizes the neck down you can send it to Forster and have them hone it to whatever you want but most have them hone it to .004 under final desired neck diameter then open it back up in a final step with the expander mandrel to .002 neck tension....

This is what I do for Dasher as well.

For the comp seater die..... Get a 6br competition seater die and run your chamber reamer in the sleeve.... Thats what I did and it's working great. I'm using the Redding fl bushing sizer die with bushing.

I thought about that, but didn’t want to have to ream anything, so I went with Forester

And I’ve heard good things from a team lapua shooter that uses Wilson thread dies so I’m gonna try those.
