How are you guys deciding what lower to SBR?
Are you going by fit finish, brand ???

I hae Armalite, Colt, RRA, Mega, Stag and DPMS lowers but am unsure which one to stamp.

I know whichever one I do will be mine 4 ever as it will almost be impossible to sell with my nake on it.

    Any thoughts?

No since in wasting the pony. Use any of the others. Regardless of brand, the choice is made AFTER you mic all the pin holes, mag well and confirm against spec, visually inspect to confirm no cracks, bad threads, etc. I vote either Mega, Stag, or DPMS as they are either so small as to likely fade away in the future or so ubiquitous (with a marginal reputation) that you aren't loosing anything by engraving it with your name, favorite Star Wars character and preferred quasi political tough guy slogan.

    The caliper doesn't lie.

And Orion Arms did a really nice job of putting Jabba The Hut and "From My Cold Dead Hand" on my receiver.......

    Good luck

I went with Tactical Innovations Multi-cal. I paid my Class III dealer $140 for it and Let him engrave it with his Class III on it, did the paper work for $50. I can sell it if ever need to. I also have been going LEO Sighn Off. The reciever has a set screw with a plastic tip that comes up against the rear upper reciever lug so you can make it as tight as you want and the the hole for the rear take down pin detent spring has a set screw so once set up it stays in tack without stock being on.

Factory SBR Colt 6921 or 6933 (just make sure you get one with the small pins) is my pick, LMT would be a fine choice as well.

I'd rather get a factory SBR because I care much for the idea of having my name engraved on the gun. It's not for any kind of paranoia reasons (the gun will be registered to me anyway) it's just because it's kinda lame.

However, if I were to SBR a lower I'd put it on an SR-15E3. I am really digging the ambi config. (Of course if you wanted to go this route you'd be stuck getting a complete rifle then parting it out since KAC dosn't sell their lowers seperately).
