Rifle Scopes What are the scope base screws on Rem 700P's?

Hey everyone,

I have to get a scope base rather soon and am not sure what the type of screws I need for a new Remington 700P short action.

I'm looking at a Badger Ordnance 20moa base and am not sure if I need to ask for screws with a special thread pitch or whatnot.

just ask for a rem short action if it is standard it will have#6x48 screws if you can have a gunsmith re drill and tap your action to #8x40 this way they can be aligned straight down the centre of the action and also are about double the streangth especialy if you are going to place a heavy high grade tacticle scope on top.

Just order any standard 20moa base for a Rem 700 whether it be Badger, Seekins, Warne, EGW, whatever..... They all will have the right screws standard.

I prefer Badger, Nightforce, and Seekins.
