What barrel are you using on your Ultimatum Deadline?

I like my barrels with a 1.25" shank. Free weight is free
Also I think they look like shit
I went with their IBI prefit in M24. It's a 300prc 1:9 twist in 5R.
Its literally gorgeous and flawless.
These paper pics are 4 shot groups at 100 the first day I got it. After getting my zero set. With factory ammo.
I was shooting seated from a bipod using my hand as a rear support and I'm honestly a very very inexperienced shooter with terrible trigger discipline.
The furthest I've taken it is 350yrds shown in the cardboard pic. Each spread is roughly 1" apart on an extremely windy day. With factory ammo.
So take it as you will

Why not send the action in to get a shouldered barrel done? Prefits are all fine an dandy but it’s really nbd to go the other route.
Because then I have to ship something and have it out of my possession for a time period that’s at the discretion of the smith. I’d prefer to have one on its way sight unseen while I’m still using my rifle.
So... why not? Pure convenience.
Pva has discontinued making prefits for deadline without having the action in hand first. Do you know if IBI still does it?
Also if anyone else has experience, feel free to chime in on whether the tolerances are askew on these actions to not allow site unseen prefits to be made safely.
IBI still does shoulder prefits, have not spun on the IBI prefit for my deadline the current barrel(nut version) is nearing end of life.
Maybe next time I will send the action to bugholes and let them make a shoulder barrel. As for tolerances just do not think there is enough deadlines out there to know.
