I am getting a new to me 700 long action chambered in 300wsm. I would like to upgrade to a dbm such as the cdi or badger offerings. But I am not sure what model to get, the 300 win mag version or the 338 lapua. I know that the lips on either will have to be modded as well as a spacer and modded follower.. There is also the badger metal made for the m24 rifle on a long action that I could use with alpha mags. But the advantage of longer mags for heavier bullets is appealing.
