Hey Guys,
I just had an old 40X receiver rebarreled. To build up a whole new gun, I picked up a new DD Ross M1 USMC trigger guard/floor plate. It's the M24 style.

I tired a factory ADL magazine box, and it seemed too short, so I tried a BDL piece, and it seemed not only too long, but with a huge slant to the rear.

I'm thinking it might be easiest to just cut the BDL box down to fit, but thought someone might have a good idea on what else I should try.

Thanks for the ideas!

The ADL box is taller then the BDL box, I believe you have those two mixed up. The ADL box also has a small tab on the back for a screw to secure it to the receiver.

If you have the current M1 DD Ross the BDL box should work.
