I just got my Surefire 762K can and am looking for a cover. I have a TAB Gear cover, but its a tad long, and either hangs off the front of the can or covers the latch and wont keep the suppressor locked. I would like on that covers the body of the can and leaves the latch open. What are some options?

Re: What cover for 762K can

You're going to need one of the new SASR covers. You can specify whatever length you want when you place your order. The SASR doesn't have the recoil ridge built into it on this model so you can have the cover in front of the latching mechanism.

If you order one of the SASR covers keep in mind that we remove 1/4" from the dimension you provide. This it to keep the muzzle of the cover from hanging over the muzzle of the can and being torn up from muzzle blast.

I hope that helps.

Hannibalsnipes, the SAS1 is the model that velcros together. I would not recommend that model because it is designed to have to go behind his locking assembly due to the built in recoil ridge.

Congrats on the can Austin! Can't wait to see you rockin' it on your SR25!

I was going to suggest Elite Iron but Tony's SASR looks way cool. Should stay in place nicely with the shock cord. Think I'll check one of those out myself for my SF 223 can.
