New to the forum, been reading for a couple weeks and figured I would pick everyones brain on this .22 I picked it up a while back after doing a little research on the action, and I'm almost certain it's a McMillan stock. The action is a turbo mk 1, on the barrel is .22 LR match K.C. YOUNG. Never mind the scope I haven't had time to throw the 6-18 on there yet and really try it out. This trigger is maybe a pound, probably a little less. Anyone know anything about these actions or what this bad boy is worth? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Don't know the maker but Turbo is a great rimfire action and it is a McMillan BR stock. Likely a great shooter. Let us know if you get the chance to try it out.

Google "Flash Ebert" and it should give you a lot of info about that Mk1 you have. Flash invented the turbo design, and produced them for many years. Turbo's are now made by another company, and have evolved in several ways.

KC Young was a famous rimfire benchrest shooter and smith. Google "KC Young, rimfire benchrest" and you should get plenty of info. KC did your metal work probably in his shop outside Richmond, VA. Based on the time frame of the MK1 and other factors, I would guess that you have a Lilja barrel.

Don't know what your plans are for that rifle, but if you intend on shooting benchrest, consider a tuner and more powerful optics.

Years ago I got a Turbo action directly from Flash....we're talking maybe 20 yrs ago? at that time the action alone was $850. By the time you add a trigger, barrel and stock along with the build labor in todays market...probable value is same as getting a CF rifle in same config from a reputable builder
