What Do You Want Your Online Retailer To Carry?

So a buddy of mine is going to be opening a online gun shop soon, and I'm asking to see what reloading components you would like to see carried if he was to carry reloading supplies. Would it be, powder, bullets, presses, dies, bullets, brass, misc. tools?

What ever you'd like to see, could you be specific? For example, if you would like to see powder, would it be: RL25, Varget, H1000, H4350, Unique, Etc.?

Thanks for any input!

Midway is already carrying the core of items people want...if you want to know what to carry I suggest you look at Midway or Brownels. Yes, they can carry more stuff but they carry what most people want.

If you wanted to specialize in maybe long range stuff or tactical stuff then just look back through some of these posts and see what others are asking for. But it won't be profitable for the buyer or seller to stock items only a handful of people want.

Its gonna be a trial and error for the first year for your buddy.

Thanks a lot! That's the info I was looking for.

Re: What Do You Want Your Online Retailer To Carry?

My thought would be to start with brass in the more common long-range calibers - 260, 308, 338, maybe a few others - along with SMKs and AMAXs and Scenars to match. I rarely order powder and primers because of the hazmat fee, but Varget is pretty popular.

I suspect the problem with an online-only store will be trying to beat the high-volume discounters.

Good luck!
