This is from October, but they still look basically the same. They'll be a year old at the end of this month. Mom's a Husky mix, and they think the dad is a very elusive non-child-support paying Australian Shepherd.
My Baby Girl. Bitch stole my seat. Has no idea she's a dog.
My over active Red Heeler. She's always up to something. Spooky smart this one.
My swim Buddy. Portuguese water dog. Loves the water more than any lab or retriever.
All rescue dogs.
The humane society in my county has a terrible way of posting the euthanasia date on their cage. Who can say no to a face that looks like this staring at you from behind the cage?
This is Booger the Shop Dog. Looks to be half Lab, half Pit. Someone dropped him out here all beat up, skin and bones and an open sore all the way around his neck from a chain or cable. He's living the good life now.
This is the pack. The olds lab is retired. The JRTs will be used for bears next month. I have to try them just to what kind of dogs they will make. These pics were taken last August so they are old enough
My buddy, Graham. Just a touch over 9 months and done growing. Wife loves him. He thinks he is a big dog and is completely fearless. BTW, the raccoon toy lasted a couple days...I wish he would do the same thing to the raccoons in the neighborhood.
Our new friend Mr. Hooper.
He's a rescue from North Carolina, said to be Basset/Beagle but his papers say Basset/Shepherd.
I think he's got some Plott hound in him.
We've had him for less than 2 weeks.
Marly aka "Brown" I cant pick up my rifle case without her going nuts she loves to go shooting with me. Scary smart sometimes a real ass wipe but we love her. Weimaraner cross
