Tight headspace and a strong plunger spring.
Due to the spring back of new non work hardened brass I'd think you'd be seeing ejector marks before the heavy bolt lift in properly sized brass.

Something in the extractor cam and a rough chamber area couple more that come to mind.

Not fully sizing your brass will give a heavy bolt lift (and hard closing). If you're using Redding dies, the problem will occur even if the die is adjusted down to the shell holder in alot of cases. You can shave the top off the shell holder by 0.010 - 0.015" to allow the case to go further in to the die.

Installing a heavier striker spring will increase bolt lift. I would look at improperly sized brass first.
