I found this stock in a box with a bunch of SEAL used parts, so it might have been issued to them. It's heavy and built well, looks like it might go to a machine gun (put it in this section since there isn't a dedicated machine gun section). Thanks in advance for the help!

What's at the face end of the pistol grip?

Is there a plate above the grip that looks like it slides into the rear of the housing for a buffer spring?

Upon pondering the issue.....Im thinking some sort of Ak variant piston gun.

Perhaps something similar to the Vintorez

Might even be some sort of Dragunov stock.

    Hello,

Ironically one of the biggest complaints of the AMACs was that grip was too vertical, yet today straight vertical is being sought more and more with the "chassis" systems.
History has all the answers, we just have to readjust and reapply them to our quest of today.

    Sincerely,
