For those of you that own one of these fine rifles I am wondering what you have found to be the ideal round for your TRG22. What commercially available rounds have given you the best performance. I am just curious.

Each rifle will perform differently with different ammo. Rarely two rifles, even of identical make, will digest varieties the same way. Your best bet is to try a box of each reputable match ammo and find out for yourself.

Mine likes both 168 and 175 FGMMs, for 100 yrd Groups it tend to like the 168 better, and 175 for 500 and beyond...
I have yet shot any 155 out of the rifle yet, but usually Factory Barrel TRGs are not very picky about ammos especially for 300 yrds and closer.
Depends on what range you're using it for...Generally 175s are better suited for Long Range Work, and I was told the 155s actually perform better than 168s at 800 and below with some rifles too.
Buy a couple of Boxes of each (Same Batch Number If Possible of each), and test it out to about 500 Yrds if you have a range that far, typically at that distance your rifle will show you which one it likes best. For 100 I doubt it'll be that big of a difference with Factory Loads, maybe more difference with Hand Load Pills...

I have a TRG with the 20" barrel, so this info may only be meaningful if yours is the same.
I tried Lapua factory with 155, 168 and 185 grain scenars, as well as Federal GMM with 168 grainers. My rifle liked the Lapua 168's the best, with the Lapua 155's a very close second. My tests were all shot at 100yds. It will keep 3 rounds inside 1/2" to 1/3" if the wind is cooperative.
It likes 168's best with reloaded ammo too.
