Rifle Scopes What height rings for vrtx 4.5-27 and savage 12 LRP?

I am out of town and my new vortex 4.5-27x56 arrived at my house yesterday. I want to get some rings headed to the house before I get home. Little anxious to go shoot this thing! I am going to mount it on a savage 12 LRP with an EGW base and need to know if 1.00" rings will work or if I need to go with 1.26"? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just mounted my Vortex 4-16x50 PST on my Savage Model 10P with a Deadnutz 20moa one piece mediums that have a height of 1.05" and i have about a 1/6" of an inch space, i would say you would need the 1.26" high, but i'm not sure if the 10 and 12 models are going to be different for you.

Now I've found some 1.10" rings that I think may work. I had a 50mm razor w/ scope caps on this rifle before with 0.98" rings so maybe the 1.10" will work.
