I have always been a fan of the mid range Nikon Glass. I like the Monarch series 6.5-20 but it only has like 35-40 MOA of adjustment.

Is there something comparable quality that has more adjustment in the same price bracket?

If I get up that high, I might just keep an eye out for a Used MK 4 or NF for a reasonable price.

Let me restate my question. Is there a sub-$500 variable 16x or 20x scope that has 50 -70 MOA of adjustment?

That's funny - i was going to ask the same question... too bad the nikon 4-15x50 monarch x only has 50moa of internal adj. What's Bushnell got? or are they even comparable?

What about the nikon monarch gold 30mm - over at optics planet - 80 moa int adj.

Yep I own both and I think that they are very similar in quality of glass. I have no preference over either one, except that I do prefer the Viper's fine cross hairs vs the Nikon Nikoplex reticle as the Viper's is much finer. I think that you would like them.

Try the Vortex Viper 6.5x20x44. I just got mine a couple of weeks ago and I love it so far. It's got just as good if not better glass than my Nikon Buckmaster and a friends Monarch and Leupold VX-3 plus alot more MOA adjustment. The clicks are also accurate and repeatable. An added plus is that it's built alot stouter than any of the Nikons I've seen. In my mind it's the best value for the money on the market.

Bushnell 3-12 4200 tactical has about 80MOA
the 6-24 4200 tactical has about 50MOA I think...
