what is the best die for my 6XC

Re: what is the best die for my 6XC

I use Redding bushing die and comp seater. The bushing die is a keeper, but the comp seater is just a luxury.

PM cav1993 he had an extra set he was wanting to sell.

You said "best" so here ya go.I have one for my 6x47L.The level of quality is way over the top and it has advantages no other die offers.

I have Warner dies for my Palma, 6.5x47 and .375 CheyTac - they are without hesitation the best. Expensive, but with the cost of brass, well worth it considering you can tremendously extend the life of your brass.

is the Warner any harder to set up than a regular sizing die? Will it fit in my RCBS press. I was told by a gunsmith to go with the Redding bushing die that radcustom suggested. I am open-minded if it's the best cash isn't a problem. It's when you don't get what you pay for that is the problem. Keep the comments coming i really appreciate them.

It has the larger thread and body,1.5x12 thread. So you have to have the kind of press that takes it,meaning...in most presses there's a insert that needs to be unscrewed.

It's a little different to set with the shims but not hard to do.Just follow the instructions.

It's like comparing a Rolls Royce to a Cadillac.
