My grail rifle is a GAP-10 in 260 or 6.5cm, but I can't seem to find any on here to get an idea of the used market price. Trying to decide if it's worth keeping an eye out or just save up and buy new direct.

    Thanks

A gap-10 is essentially a seekins sp-10 with some upgrades (barrel and buttstock). You can get an SP-10 brand new in 308 for like 2100. There are also seekins 20-30% off codes for sale in the px that can be used for this. Order yourself a 260 barrel of your choice and shoot the 308 in the meantime. Then when your 260 barrel is ready do the swap and your gold.

So for the price difference, I would expect the GAP to have a hand fitted barrel extension, indivually headspaced bolt, tuned trigger, and maybe even other things I'm not aware. I assume that is price premium you are paying over a seekins - is that not the case?

There are other variances and things included. It has a Geiss Le trigger instead of a timney. GA uses bartlein barrels.all I’m saying is you could buy an sp-10 and upgrade over time or right away if you can’t find one. The barrel is the biggest upgrade.

That's what I did. Got my Bartlein from Craddock Precision. At the time Seekins wasn't selling the builders kit so I picked up a lightly used SP10. The builders kit is the way to go.
