What is the value of a used Blaser Tac II?

What caliber are they? Never mind, I looked over the cal. I have seen them go for $4000-$4500 brand new. Considering these are used then I would say anywhere from $2700-$3400 based on condition. To really move them I would say $2500.

I have shot the Blaser and think that you should try them, they are very accurate the barrels are made from a special tool steel and have very long barrel life, triggers are very good and the rifles are very modular with good human engineering, all that being said not everybody likes the straight pull bolt and the barrel mounted scope , if the rifles are in good condition i would offer 1500-2000$ so you can sell them in a decent price and have some profit

Last LRS II I sold was cherry condition 308 all factory with mirage band and it took FOREVER to sell for 3100. It sat here on the hide for months before I found a buyer. Great shooting rifle, but the ergonomics were a bit wacky.
I would say a rifle that's in need of a new barrel soon and has cheap paint work is only going to be worth around $2k retail for you to actually move them. So you would need to be in the $1200-$1500 range to make a quick profit. If I purchased it, then have to buy a new $1000 barrel and if I'm sensitive to cosmetics I would need to have a Cerakote job at the cost of around $400. All of a sudden I'm getting dangerously close to the cost of a new one

I too would be interested in one for the 1500-2000 range. Do you know the condition of the barrels or the rifles them self? Also PM pictures as well.

I'm interested but sounds like these were ridden hard and put away wet.

$1,200 to $1,500 for a new barrel in .223, .308, .300 WM or .338 Lapua if you can find them plus $500 for a new bolt assembly and magazine for all but the .308 and these will be good to go.

If you have to put $1,500 into it and can buy a new one for $4,500 from EuroOptic (http://www.eurooptic.com/blaser-tactical-2-rifles.aspx), I think cro789's estimate of $1,500 to $2,000 is about right.

Good luck with the purchase and resale.

Agree with the $1500-$2000 range, Blaser makes very nice guns, but there's only tiny sliver of the market who's really into them in my experience. Thomas' post about the difficulty for resale is dead on.
