What is this guy using here. this is a screencap from the new magpul video. He talked all about a ton of equipment EXCEPT what the rifle right by him was mounted on.

it looks like a pistol grip tripod head, with some kind of tripod adapter.

now about that price for the whole kit...damn!

i wonder if someone makes a picatinny rail adapter with just a regular 1/4" camera hole that you would be able to just mount onto a normal non-qd tripod?

he did mention it in the unconventional positions part of I think the 5th dvd but I can't remember for sure. Im pretty sure Rino251 is right its all from larue as Todd seems to be a big larue fan.

If you order this adapter from Larue, Only get that exact pistol grip head that they show used with it. The plate is a little different than all the other Manfrotto plates and its the only one that will work. I have one and this whole setup is very solid with my AR308 on it.
