What is your favorite AR grip to put on a Mcree?

I had an Ergo grip on my Mcree which I liked, but it wasn't "perfect". Long story short my dad accidentally put my gun folded resting on the grip for a while and messed it up pretty good.

Looking to get a new grip to try and just wondering what you guys have used and liked.

The Magpul one with the large backstrap on it.

Magpul "K" grip. Different angle than others.

Tried most but I did not like the angle. I've found the Umbrella grip to be the closest to 90 degrees. See here: Umbrella grip A little time with a hacksaw and file and it was good to go. Pretty hard to beat at $20.

That Umbrella grip looks pretty nice. How hard is it, and is it easy to get a good grip on?

Hard as in tackiness? It is not tacky like an ergo, but not as hard as the standard issue M4 grip.

I had a hard time maintaining a good hand position with the standard AR grip that came with the McRee. The angle was not right for me as I was used to a more vertical grip on my bolt gun. The Umbrella grip allows me to build a more natural hand position, so I like it. If you do a Google image search for them you can see them mounted on ARs and get an idea of the grip angle being closer to 90 degrees.

Ergo Tactical Deluxe. Have then on all my Mcrees.
