I have a Speck PixelSkin that I usually use. Not bad for a relatively cheap rubber cover and it gives it a raised edge around the screen. I drop that into an extra Oakley M-Frame bag I have, protects the screen a little since I don't have a screen protector on it yet.
I also have one of the now discontinued waterproof Otterbox cases, but only use it when I know I'll need the extra protection.

AGENT 18 Hard Case
By far most amazing case iv owned.
Its built to break apart to take all the brunt.
Iv dropped it a good 50+ times.. And it took a ride on
my aunts car for a good 50ft flew off the car at a good 25MPH
took the ground and my phone literally NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH.
Happened about 5 days ago to be honest.
Case got ran over and still was almost usable.. One of
the lips got bent from being ran over. Only reason I didnt pop
it right back on and kept it going. I really don't think you can beat that.

Otterbox is bringing back the Defender cases this spring supposedly. You can drop them your email and they will notify when its available.
