What just happened to Match primer prices.

I was just in a store today and looked at the price of match primers.
BR-2 and BR-4 for $16.99/100
GM205M and GM210M for $11.99/100

In Canada prices went from $16.99/100 to $25.99/100 for the BR-2 and BR-4.
Last I looked they were $15.99/100.

What changed in the last few months?

Same here. Quite a bit cheaper. And more available. Just picked up a case of large magnum rifle primers 1/4-1/3 what the price was just six months ago. If you could even find them in stock anywhere.

Don’t know about large magnum I have over 1,000 and I may shoot 100 a year.
I shoot around 1,000 6.5 Creedmoor and another 750 or so 6mm BR that are both using BR-4 primers.

I have around 900 left.
I still have an unopened case of BR-2’s that I’m trying to trade with someone local.

I have around 5K of CCI 400 but I’ve popped a few in the 6BR. I may try them in the 6.5CM.

Depending on when those primers came into the country, the 25% tariff may have had something to do with it. Our reciprocal tariffs are only hurting Canadians.
