Gunsmithing What kind of price should I expect to pay....

to bed my Savage 12 F T/R?

Should I get Alluminum bedding, Devcon bedding, MarineTex bedding....?

Does the whole stock get bedded or just the action.

Enquiring mines want to know.

Price and material is gona depend on who you have do the work. Should just be the action and bottom metal getting bedded. Im sure any smith on the hide can do the work your looking for.

This was my thread/debate on type of material used. I went with devcon. Bought 1lb can off ebay for $41 TYD. Also follow the advise in the sticky posted above in this section. Works perfectly for a stress free bed job. Goodluck

Any one of the ones you mentioned will work fine. As for bedding instructions, there's no better than the already mentioned sticky in the gunsmithing section by Mr. Roscoe.
