I’ve got this Schmidt and bender pmii scope on a gun of mine. It is a 3-12x50 with a reticle that has a illuminated cross in the middle that is floating with mil dots and hash marks in the reticle but no ranging lines on the bottom like what is in a p4. I’m looking for any info such as when this scope was offered, what kind of reticle it is, and why the Illumination knob is on the left turret and not the more prolific model rheostat. It also has an angle cosine indicator and another device that I have no idea what it is? Thanks!!!!

Looks like a SB classic 3-12 with pmii turrets installed ?

Yes their is an old school anti can't indicator and angle indicator on there too.

I have never seen a 3-12 pmii without a parralax knob

It does look like the Klassik series, but it also looks like a 34mm tube. I wonder if this could be a very early PMIi? I bet OP can just call Schmidt bender and ask.

And please share the answer. I love these odd-pieces…

Maybe we should get Ian McCollum to make a spin-off series - “Forgotten Optics”…

Appears to be a custom PMII with fixed parallax and an illuminated Gen II Mil Dot reticle.

I will gladly buy it from you :)
