Hi there new guy, and welcome to the interweb. This here location to which you have recently arrived, is called "Sniper's Hide". As such, you'll find that this location (here-to-forever-after shall be known as "site") there are many different forums and sub-forums all dealing with the sport/career of PRECISION SHOOTING.

In the intent of garnering as much pertinent information as possible, this site has been open to all and sundry from all walks of earth and experience. There are so many diverse topics here, each of which having so many diverse directions, that there has been some concern as to organizing such thoughts. (here-to-forever-after shall be known as "threads") These threads have been correlated into unifying and yet diverse groups, to which "Reloading" has been titled into a specific area, and more particularly, "Individual and Specific Caliber loads" has it's own area as well.

Please, feel free to 'walk around' and check out the place. Peer into the small corners and crevasse's as you may never know what lurks behind each corner. Upon sighting some small gem of knowledge, especially one to which you may be adept, please feel free to share your wisdom with the rest of us, for the benefit of all, and mankind too.

Thank you, and hope you enjoy your stay.

^^Like!

Anyways, to the OP, you might be a bit more specific, not sure what you are going for or what you expect to gain from knowing random load data?

Re: What Loads Everybody using?

It was actually meant to be a general load question. Knowledge of what seems to be working in other peoples firearms may not be best for yours or mine but its a few good places to start for someone. Also curiosity of what people are using and why to possibly pick up on something i do not know myself. As i am always learning along with everyone else. If i misplaced this question or worded it incorrectly i apologize.

Ok, tell you what. First, go here:
This should look like the main page of the forums. See that one, 13 forums down?

Then, go here:
This is the reloading section.... click on this.

Then, go here:
This will bring you directly into the Reloading Depot

I really do hope that this excursion helps any and all, conquest new challenges and attain enlightenment. And again, (to which I can't stress this enough....) if you have any experience or higher knowledge of any particular topic that is pertinent to the discussions taking place, by all means feel free to add in. Conversely, if anyone DOES NOT have experience or higher knowledge of said topic, then FEEL FREE to watch from the sidelines, and become enlightened by your betters.

***in other words, please read the site rules. Pay extra attention to numbers 2 and 4***

Re: What Loads Everybody using?

I'll play!

.223 in my Larue Stealth 24 gr Varget behind a 75 Hornady BTHP
.308 either 168 SMKS with 46 gr of varget or 175 SMKs with 45 gr of varget.

Each load is close to half MOA capable.

Re: What Loads Everybody using?

I like standard ball. M-193 or M-855. Both will produce 1 hole groups. I guess my question is what is all that black stuff that ends up on the paper around the bullet hole? Kind of looks like it was a spray from the muzzel or something like that.
