What max COAL with RPR in 5.56?

I've been considering buying a RPR 5.56. But I've read a few people can't load them very long due to the chamber. Is that common? If so it would kind of defeat the purpose of having a longer SA magazine. I'm hoping to load out close to 2.5".

I can't speak for the 2.5" but I've not been held back by my RPR chamber as far as COAL goes. I can load 80 grain eld's longer than a standard accurate mag. I actually had to dremel the front part out of my mag to get the rounds to fit in it. I will measure when I get home though.

I was running 80gr ELDMs at 2.650" COAL and about .020-.030" off lands.
