Rifle Scopes What optic for an LMT MWS?

I've got an LMT MWS rifle that I need an optic for. There are so many options my head is spinning so I thought I'd ask you guys for some recommendations. Here's what i'm looking to do with the rifle and what I need from the optic:

99% of the time i'll be shooting at 300m or less
I'd prefer something relatively lightweight
Optic must have some magnification but nothing high powered.
I want to use the rifle more like a battle rifle with some precision ability.

What would you guys recommend?

I have a LMT on the way, and have a Premier 3.5x15 leftover that's going to top it... however my eye is keen on the Leupy mk 8 or even mk 6 series. Unfortunately the Mk 6 is not on promotive yet.

Nightforce 2.5-10X32 would be my first pick.

However the new Leupold MK 6 3-18 looks like it would be perfect on a .308 semi.

My vote is for the USO 1.8-10x37. Its low profile, lets you work from 100yds out to 1000 if you choose. I have one on my Mk12 AR and its great out to 700 for that platform.

I spent some extensive triggertime behind one with a Elcan specter DR 1.5-6....
Pretty tough combo to beat.

US Optics SN-3s (37mm obj, green JNG, EREK, ERGO). 1.8-10x.

I have an IOR 2-12x36 scope on my MWS. This is a great power range to have for a "battle rifle" type weapon. You can still engage targets up close, but can also magnify the power to take more precise shots at distance targets.
