Hi,

I have recently purchased one Swedish M41B / 6.5x55 rifle. I am new to this cartilage so I was wondering what powder works best with this rifle please? I am sure you folks have loaded rounds for Swedish rifles.

You can also email me with any info that might help.

Best Regards,

Masood

Masood,

You might attract more attention in the Vintage Sniper, or one of the reloading sub-forums. However, I load 6.5x55 for both the M96 Mauser and for my Tikka T3. Most people will tell you that Reloader 22 is the "go to" powder for this caliber, especially when shooting 139/140 grain bullets. I've had good luck with Rel-22, but have actually had even better groups from the 4831 powders. For the Mauser, I like IMR 4831 and for my Tikka I use either H4831 or H4831SC. Drop me a PM outlining what components you have access to and I might be able to give you some load data to match.
