what powder

I've used H4350, Reloder 17, Reloder 16, and Varget. For the 120 or 123 grain bullets, Varget worked well, but you can't use it for the 140s. Reloder 17 gave me good velocity and accuracy, but it's pretty sensitive to temperature changes, so you'll need to adjust whatever load you develop with it. Be very cautious if you develop a load in cooler temps and try to use it in summer months, since what was fine in cold weather may now be over pressure in warmer temps. H4350 is much better at handling temperature variances. My personal powder of choice for 6.5 is Reloder 16. I had 30ish pounds of H4350 on hand, tested Reloder 16, and liked it so much I sold off all the H4350.
