Sometime in the next week or so I'm going to purchase a new Rangefinder unit. I have a good set of binos so I'm going with the stand alone rangefinder.

I've narrowed it down to 3 units unless some of you chime in and tell me how good a unit is that you have tried.

The Leica crf 1600, Zeiss Victory, and the Sworvski.

I've tried the Sworo in the field, and I do not like the orange aiming circle! It's really hard to see! Have the correct that?

Thanks for your help...

Re: What rangefinder?

Bushnell Fusion ARC 1600 will do 1 mile in the bright TEXAS sun, and compare pretty good to Lieca Giovids, price is around 700 bucks, or of the ones you listed get the Swaro

Re: What rangefinder?

I just got a zeiss myself. Haven't ranged any animals but I got a hit of 1206 off of a dumpster and one of 1100 or so off of a rock in the bright sun in Texas. I am happy with the zeiss.

I got the Zeiss and love it. Had the swaro it was pretty slow on read outs
