Re: What Rifle Is This?

It's the xm2010 as pointed out.
Cadex Defense in Canada make them, Drakes associates is the US importer and a site sponsor.
Assume you cannot buy the xm2010 chassis, but the Cadex Strike 30/33 is what's available, and it's a further development from the xm2010 chassis.
Check if the group buy is still available on these, they're quite expensive.

Re: What Rifle Is This?

that pic is of a XM2010 which is a Remington 700 in a Remington Arms Chassis System, It is very similar to the MSR, but the MSR has a different action.

Here is a link to the MSR and XM2010

The Remington arms chassis is not the same as the Cadex Defense chassis and anyone who says that does not payed much attention to detail. Here is a comparison of the XM2010 vs. Cadex defense look at the magwell and the begin of the barrel. Overall, they are similar but not the same!

Austin -
Yes you are absolutely correct that the Gen 1 chassis that was developed for the M24E / XM2010, RACS system, MSR programs delivered by Remington for the military end-user is different than the New UPGRADED Gen 2 STRIKE series chassis system.

The CADEX STRIKE Series is a re-fit for the following systems that use a standard foot print of the following weapons:
Rem 700 Short Action (or M40 Sniper Weapon System),
Rem 700 Long action (M24 and MK13 Sniper Weapon Systems) and McMillan TAC50 (MK15 Sniper Weapon System).

UPGRADED / GEN 2 Differences include:

1) Lower bottom metal / Magazine well has the ability to be removed for working on your weapon trigger for maintenance without the need to bed the complete barreled action from the chassis. This eliminates the need to re-zero post trigger or mag well area cleaning maintenance work

2) Steel bedding system (steel chassis to steel components)to eliminate steel to aluminum wear rates

3) QD adjustments on LOP, cheek weld and butt plate that require NO tools

4) Reinforced / Stronger fore-end attachment assembly than previous design

5) Ability to change mag well for use with different magazines is a caliber change was made to the action requiring a different dimension magazine - or if the end user wanted to use a different barreled action than the one originally intended for the chassis.

Also - our chassis is immediately available ready to go for the US civilian customer.
