What`s your 223 500yd group size?

Whats your average group size at 300 & 500? I`ve got a factory Savage 20" 9twist shooting Hornady 75 BTHP. Regulary shoots in the high .3`s / low .4`s at 100. At 300 it shoots around the 2" mark (.6 moa) & at 500 it`ll shoot 4 to 4.5" on average (.8 moa). I`ve tried 69 SMK`s (better at 100 but opens up more at distance) & 75 A-Maxes (.75 at 100 so I haven`t shot them at distance).

Thinking of getting a new barrel (7.5 / 8 twist) but not real sure what to expect out of it.

My 223 WSSM is MOG (Minute-Of-Groundhog) at 500 yards. It will kill a groundhog at 500 yards 80% of the time with the first shot. []
