I'm newish to centerfire rifle shooting (160 rounds down the tube) and have been shooting a Remington 700 AAC-SD on a Mcree's Precision chassis with an SWFA SS HD 5-20 on top. What accuracy should I be expecting with SW Ammo 175's SMKs or FGMM 168 SMKs? I've been shooting about 1-1.5 MOA, though I've been hearing people say they can get down to about .75 MOA or so.

I shoot SW 175 SMK, and im shooting half a minute at 300 meters. What are your torque setting's? We started at 65 in lbs because thats what my work torque wrench is and it shot like shit. Backed it down to 35 in lbs and went from barely under a minute at 100 to .3-.4 at 100. If you still have the xmark pro trigger get rid of it, its the biggest piece of garbage iv ever shot. Idk your shooting ability but a lot of it may be you. My gun shoots better then me so anytime i "throw" a round its just that I messed up not the rife or the ammo.

My aac doesnt shoot factory ammo much better than 1 moa with sw ammo, fggm, tap, or corbon. Shoots black hills 175at .75
Shoots reloads with 178 amax very well.
Waiting to try hornady match 178 when and if current climate breaks
