So its getting time to mount up my 4-16-50 Viper PST to my Rem 700 Sendero .300 WM. I am looking for a 1913 base with a 20 MOA cant and solid rings. Price is alway a concern but doing it right the first time is equally important.

I guess I will have to figure out the proper height rings after I settle on a brand.

Not sure what to go with. Looked at Warne, Badger.......

I am thinking Steel base and rings may be a requirement given this light hard kicking combo

Any thoughts ?

Thanks

This is the combo I went with as well.

Rail: Take your pick from EGW to Seekins, Badger, or Near

Rings: ARC M10's all the way. The Steel vs. Aluminum discussion gets beat to death around here appx. every 6 weeks, the 7075T651 rings are more than enough and in many cases stronger than the steel used in competitor rings.
