what size bore mop for .308 chamber?

I keep having brass stick in my chamber (Savage Model 10BA-LE) after firing and after researching I am thinking I just need to give the chamber a good cleaning with a short rod, a bronze brush and my drill. Then probably some simichrome on a mop to polish it. So I am ordering some AR10 .308 chamber brushes but I am wondering what size bore mop would work. (They are about half the cost of a "chamber mop".) A .308 case measures about .460-.470 in diameter so I am thinking a .45-.50 cal bore mop? Does that sound right or will it be too big?

Any difference between using a cotton mop and a wool mop?

Any issues with using a drill with a chamber brush to do this?

In my personal experience I have not had issues using a brush or mop attached to a drill. I recall doing this to one of my ak47s. Just be sure to use plenty of lube in the chamber if you go this route.

Does this one unscrew from the handle so you can put it on a drill? (I was just going to use a section of the aluminum rod from an old cleaning kit....)
