I just purchased a LWRC REPR 20" and have been bouncing back forth on what glass I should put on it. Ive been asking around and keep getting all sorts of rediculous answers. i want to spend no more then $1500 for a optic. im leaning twards the Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x50mm LR/T M1 but dont want to make a hasty decision. Plus I am currently deployed so Im not sure what deals are currently available to deployed soldiers. Purpose of this rifle is for target shooting anywhere from 100m to 600m. if you have any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.

I almost just bought a FFP MK4. I didnt like the thin nightforce reticles so I sold off my NF. I ended up with a S&B PM 10X. My advice to anyone in the 1500 area of spending is look into this.

Its just a little more, and you get your moneys worth. Built like a tank, clearer than anything I have ever owned, and great adjustments. A used one would be around 1500, keep scanning the for sale section here.

Look for a used Nightforce in the classified sections,a heck of alot better scope than Leupold,also they warrenty there products ,so you dont have to worry about buying used.

What makes the NF better than the Leupold? I am quite happy with my Leupold, I see statements of this nature with no actual data backing it up.
In low light the Leupold is quite clear from my perspective.
