I was given a 5 gallon bucket of once fired .223/5.56 range brass. After sorting I've come up with about 4 gallons of brass that has similar head stamp/date. The remaining gallon is mixed.
Thinking that I should clean it, load it and fire it as plain and simple cannon fodder. Reality once I have the other 4 gallons loaded by the time I shoot it, I'll have more homogeneous brass to load.
Worth it to fill these mixed cases with either CFE 223 or 8208XBR and top them with a 77CC or just let them go to the scrap pile and wait for the next 5 gallon give away?
