What to do...?

Not so far back I had some interest in 6.5 PRC and got a barrel spun up for it. SAAMI spec chamber or “new” chambering with the longer freebore. Long story short Lost interest due to magazine length restrictions and wanting to experiment with different bullets. Aka money pit rabbit hole.

Got rid of the short mag bolt for my Curtis and now I have this barrel sitting around.

Don’t think I can rechamber for a short action less voluptuous cartridge so now what? Short term paperweight and long term money saved?

What action is it threaded for it might help you sell it faster. As far as price maybe in between finish price and blank barrel price.

It’s for a Curtis Vector. Not sure how tight there actions are to where I could guarantee fitment. That and it wasn’t chambered by anyone “famous”.

No it’s specific to the Vector as it utilizes their quick change.

Just look it up in YouTube very cool setup. Look at there website and was surprised they don't offer a long action.
Best thing to do is keep the barrel and shoot the dam thing. You'll burn that barrel up in about 800-1000 rounds anyways. Just have to single load it.

Yeah it’s pretty convenient I must say. I think there’s mixed opinions on the set screws and how they may affect things. Personally have not seen it.
Well part of that dilemma is that I had two Curtis actions and sold my other one with a short mag and .223 bolt.
Correct no long action in the Vector. They do have the Helix now but that uses maybe Rem 700 threading.
